Installing Microsoft Office 365 Education
Microsoft Office 365 Education for Adams State University Students and Employees
Computing Services is excited to announce that Microsoft Office 365 Education is available to Adams State University students and employees to install on their personal devices for free! Office 365 Education can be installed on any of your personal devices.
You will need a valid username@adams.edu email address to qualify.
Office 365 for Education includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Teams, and Visio plus more.
Downloading and Installing Microsoft Office 365 Education
Sign up for Office 365 for Education at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office
Enter your email address and click "Get Started" You must register with your Adams State University @adams.edu email address.

On the right side, click "Install apps" to download the Office 365 apps for Windows, Mac, or mobile devices.
Please note your Office 365 account is separate from your main Adams student account. Password resets on your main Adams account will not be reflected in your Office 365 Education account.
Extra step for Mac users:
If after installing the Office apps you are still unable to edit documents, in the Office app you're using click "Activate" in the bottom left and then sign in with your student email address.
You'll then select "Work or school account" and enter the password for your student email one last time to be able to edit and save Office documents.

Office 365 Education for Android Devices
Install Office Mobile from the Google Play Store.
Search Office on the Google Play Store
Tap Office (Microsoft 365) to open it. Click the Install button and swipe through the introduction, and then tap Get Started.
Type your Password, and then tap Sign in.
Office 365 Education for Apple iOS Devices
To edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote files on your iPhone or iPad, you need to install the apps and sign in with your school account.
If you don't have any of the Office Apps on iPhone or iPad installed, download the apps from the Apple App Store.
Tap any Office app to open it. Swipe through the introduction, and tap Sign In.
To use the premium features in the app, on the Sign in page, type in your Microsoft Office 365 school account associated with your Office 365 subscription, and then tap Next.
Type your Password, and then tap Sign in.
