Google Docs - Recovering Document

Google Docs are stored on Google's servers. Computing Services does not have access to recover the files. Here is Google's Find or Recover a File Instructions.

If you can no longer see a document that someone else created and shared with you, please try the following:

1. The creator of the document should unshare it with the person who cannot see it.

2. Close the document.

3. Reopen the document.

4. Reshare it with the user that couldn't see the document.

Alternatively,

1. Click the advanced search options next to the blue search button on top of the documents listing.

2. Try clicking on the "All Documents" or "Shared with Me" and see if the document shows up.
