Computing Services is excited to announce that Microsoft Office 365 Education is available to Adams State University students and employees online through Microsoft CoPilot for free!
You will need a valid username@adams.edu email address to qualify.
The online Office 365 for Education includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Teams, and Visio plus more.
Accessing Microsoft Office 365 Education Online

Sign up for Office 365 for Education at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office
Enter your email address and click "Get Started" You must register with your Adams State University @adams.edu email address.
Please note your Office 365 account is separate from your main Adams student account. Password resets on your main Adams account will not be reflected in your Office 365 Education account.
Note: If you get an error when you put your email in, you may need to reach out to computingservices@adams.edu to get a license assigned to your ASU account.
After entering your ASU email it will have you solve a puzzle/make sure you're not a robot
4. Select if you are a 'Student' or a 'Teacher'
5. You will then need to select 'Sign In' again, and when it asks 'Do you trust adams.edu? ' select continue.
6. Once you have signed in you will select 'Get Started'
You should now be on the M365 Copilot site. You will need to select 'Apps' on the left hand side of the screen.
You will then be able to access the online Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
If you need to open a document that was sent to you or is on Blackboard, you will need to first download the file. Then you will open the type of file you need, such as Word.
Make sure to select Upload a file when you open the Word app from the M365 site.
Select the file to open from your 'Downloads'
