Welcome! To get started with your student account, the very first thing you must do is reset your password.
You should have received a welcome email containing your username, your 900 number, and the necessary information to activate your account. Please keep that information handy and follow the two-part setup process below.

Before accessing your email or student portals, you must establish a secure password.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Navigate to password.adams.edu.
Click the Forgotten Password button located below the login screen.
Enter your Username and your 900 number (provided in your welcome email).
Select your personal email address as the destination to send your verification link.
Open a new tab and navigate to your personal email inbox. Open the verification email, then follow the instructions to reset your password.
Create your new password. Note: Your password must be at least 16 characters long.
Verify your setup by successfully signing into your ASU student email at gmail.com.
Once you have successfully logged into your ASU Gmail account, please set up 2-Step Verification. This adds a critical layer of security to your account and helps avoid future login issues.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Log in to your ASU account on any Google page (such as your Gmail inbox).
Click on your profile icon, located at the top right of the screen.
Select the Manage your Google Account button.
Navigate to the Security page.
Desktop: Look for "Security & Sign-In" on the left sidebar.
Mobile: Look for "Security & Sign-In" on the top scrolling menu bar.
Scroll down to the box titled How you sign in to Google.
Click the 2-Step Verification row to start the setup process, and follow the on-screen prompts to secure your account.
