What is SafeConnect?

SafeConnect is a software that lets the university control who is able to access the network for internet use. SafeConnect uses a policy key, which is installed on your computer before you are able to access the network. It checks your computer that it meets all the requirements before you gain internet access.

What are the requirements?

For Windows PC:

1. The policy key must be installed.

2. An anti-virus program must be installed and up-to-date.

3. You must have "Automatic Updates" turned on.

4. No Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs installed on your PC.


For Mac:

1. The policy key must be installed.

2. An anti-virus program must be installed and up-to-date.

3. No Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs installed on your Mac.
