Employee Email Setup - Smart Phones
The instructions below are shown on an Android phone. For other phones and mail applications the setup process should be similar.
Computing Services recommends using K9 Mail, a free Android mail client. It is available for free in the Android Market.
For Faculty/Staff: Incoming Server Settings
- Protocol: IMAP (Not POP!)
- IMAP Server: staff.adams.edu
- Security Type: SSL
- Port: 993
Outgoing Server Settings
- Enter your username
- SMTP Server (outgoing server): mail.adams.edu
- Security Enabled: Type TLS
- Server Port: 587
