Employee Email Setup - Smart Phones
For student accounts visit Gmail Setup on Mobile Phones
The instructions below are shown on an Android phone. For other phones and mail applications the setup process should be similar.
Computing Services recommends using K9 Mail, a free Android mail client. It is available for free in the Play Store.
After installing K9 Mail, open the application. You will see the following welcome screen.
Click Next
Enter your email address and password.
Select IMAP account.
ASC Employee Incoming Server Settings
IMAP incoming Server: staff.adams.edu
Security Type: SSL
Port: 993
SMTP Server (outgoing server): mail.adams.edu
Security Enabled: Type TLS
Server Port: 587
Choose a name for your account.
Enter your name as you would like it to be displayed in the "From" field.
You should be all set!
