What is Math XL?

Math XL is a website that some math classes use instead of traditional pencil and paper homework. Math XL isn't just made for turning in homework it can also be a great study tool before quizzes or exams. It features study tools such as practice tests and study plans to get you prepared for your next big grade. Math XL is a browser based homework client so you can access it from any computer, on or off campus. Do you have more than one class using Math XL? No problem! Math XL can handle multiple classes under one log on name so you save time and money.

How to access Math XL

  • Purchase a Math XL access code.
    • Math XL access codes will sometimes come with new text books. If your text book does not have an access code in it, you can get one either at the ASC book store or online.
  • Get the course number from your instructor
    • This will usually be mentioned the first day of class or it will be in the syllabus.
  • Make sure Adobe Flash is installed. If your Flash version is outdated, download the new version from the below link.
  • Login to www.mathxl.com.
